What Does Community Impact Look Like?
There’s a place for you too! A vision from this body of believers is to restore families. Children in the Moncks Corner community are directly & negatively impacted by abuse or neglect in their home. Marriages as well as children are hurting and need healing from drug and alcohol addiction. Elderly families, multigenerational homes, & single parent homes are struggling. These needs are focused on by Community Impact Teams to be the hands and feet of Jesus right here in Moncks Corner.
In Matthew we read that "just as the son of man came not to be served, but to serve" and believe that serving the local community is a door into making more disciples for the kingdom of God & meets a need for our neighbors in Moncks Corner.
At The Grove there are 3 Community Impact Groups. These groups meet together each Wednesday, eat together at 6PM, as Jesus did often with his friends, pray together, study the Bible using the SOAP method & then serve together. How they serve & when they serve their Community Impact Partner is decided within each group.
